setting the tattered flag on fire

The sunrise this morning was spectacular! At first the sky was grey and featureless- light slowly revealed...ah, there is a blanket of clouds...no not a blanket but a ragged swath of clouds, a tattered flag of surrender that was set fire by the sun as she rose. Pinks and golds, bright whites that set the sky a light!

Gimlet and the Sprinkler

I caught glimpses out the windows in the gym this morning of the sunrise. Yep, the gym. how'bout them apples? Which meant that Gimlet had his morning outside in the dark this morning. Which he liked. He also had his first interaction with the sprinklers that come on quite suddenly with a gurgle and a hiss at 5:30am. I don't think he liked that part so much..

It was a thick morning this morning. Dawn's windows remained rather bleakly blank of bright color, just a wash of a sickly goldgreen. I always get stuck in the same place... Inspire?

graduation day
