the brief moment of the sun rise that I caught was beautiful. The sun had risen in to the clouds however there was a tower of light underneath gold and white and it lit the cloulds around it quite dramaticly, if sofly. A Beethoven overture.

so mymanJim was making a drinking game of the traffic reports this morning on the news. Anytime anyone said "situation" or "actually" he'd holler "drink"! It was a good thing it was only OJ, or he'd be completely wasted already. Might be a fun game to play tonight though...If we can get to the liquor store and re-stock..
Feb 5
the sunrise on the snow was just picturesque. I was hoping that the light would be reflected and the pinks and gold were gently washed over the the hills the shadows a pretty plum. Worth getting up for this morning for sure.
Feb 7
sunrise crested over dusty streets and yards with patches of grey dirty snow, even the colors she wore were muted and drab. Traffic though, moved briskly, taking the bitter pill of being expected back at work with almost an eager will...
Feb 10
today's sunrise, I'm sure was quite lovely. I think I even remember some pinks reflecting off the steam from one the factory's that we pass getting in to work. However, most of it is lost in the testosterone fueled rage driving that Jim was in to this morning. I think my stomach is just now coming unclenched....

The sky was a pale unripe lemmon as we passed by the Cirque tents this morning. They tents were brightly lit with white light that made the striped curves and peaks leap forward from the lemony sunrise, like a childrens pop up book, cheerful and gleefully anticipatory rather than the sinister Ray Bradbury shadowed tired drape of sad fabrics that I was (for whatever reason) expecting to see.
Feb 14
The sunrise was loverly this morning. There was a small salmon colored spread of clouds along the horizon, that looked very sweet against the pale blue of the eastern sky.
Now that was a sunset for a day celebratin' love and passion!
Feb 15
the clouds this morning have better places to be and are moving along there quite swiftly. I love it when they are on the move and early morning light just ripples along them.
Angela V: I love when it is cool and humid like this. The air is so soft on my skin.
Feb 16
the clouds today were the lazy ones from yesterday (I'm betting) as they are just kinda lying about with nothing else better to do than obscure the sunrise in my part of the world. All thick, and fleece like...and squishy... and quietly grey... makes me...sleeppyyyy
Feb 17
patches of grey cloud were trying to stick together long enough to obscure the blushing pinks and porcelain blues of the sunrise, but I saw the colors anyway and rather than hide the sunrise, the cracked greys made it that much more fun to catch the delight behind them.
Feb. 21
I was fighting to stay awake on the drive in as the morning was soft greys on lighter grey, the clouds obscuring the dawns first colors but not the moon in the west. I pulled in to work and was gathering the courage to get out of the car when I noticed the sherbet sun was rising- burning off the haze of a full weekend. I can do this.
Feb 22
The sunrise on the way in had a "V" shaped clouds with a dark grey run along the horizon and a pink run opening into the west: in between were feather clouds of gold and white. The sun herself, when she came up, seemed to be in between the dark run of the "V" and the feathered clouds seemed behind her, Sally Rand style.I could almost see her wink, cheekily.
Feb 23
A brooding morning with shades of razor-blade. The sky has lightened to disaffected with the rise of the sun, though things still remain rather color blind. Spring has sprung in her own unique Texas way of random morning temperatures and mostly bland sunrises that can bleed in to beautiful days or...not. (using my new emo color crayons for the description!)
Feb 24
the skies this morning are indeed Dorian grey, the heavy mist softens lights and turns an ordinary morning to a romance. Perhaps I am Eponine- singing of her unrequited love or maybe Lauren Bacall standing under a damp street light waiting on Humphrey... or maybe I'm at work...
mymanJim told me this morning he was going to give me a little romance next Friday. I was like "Oh? Romance?" he said "yea, I know it's kinda new for you." I nodded. "it's where we rent a chick flick, we sit to watch it together... and I fall asleep."
Feb 25
I looked up through my sunroof and was able to catch the dawns blush of peach on an airplane that was flitting though the patchy grey clouds. The plane winked at me, disappeared back in to the clouds, revealing the half moon, ghosting against the fragile blue sky.
Feb 28
I was out early to work out and the quiet hush outside seemed much like that moment when you wake and you know it's just before your alarm is going to go off and you really want to go back to sleep, but the anticipation of that alarm ringing- of dawn rising, that it keeps sleep at bay. The world was gathering it's self to wake up, but wasn't quite ready yet.
