Oct 4 -

Oct 4
I love the gold that the sun paints everything in as it just first peeks over the horizon. The warmth and love in that light is so comforting. Everything can be beautiful for just a brief moment..
Oct 6-7
I didn't get to talk about yesterdays sunrise (stupid computer) and it was just surreal and magical. There was a wire of white gold around the north edge of the embossed moon, she hung just above where dawn was beginning and where the night sky was slowly losing her grasp. It was loverly.
Oct 8
todays sunrise was missed as it was a rough night with the new kitten, thinking that gosh since *he's* awake, we should be too. He drools, the new kitten...and I mean like a great dane. I hope it's cause he's teething or something...
Oct 11
the skies had cleared just enough in the south that I could see dawn reflected in the pink tops of the thunderheads in the distance while the east still flashed silver lighting in it's dark grey sky.
 Oct 12
a contemplative morning this morning. the sun rose quietly, as if to say, Yes, it is another day, it's going to begin whether you want it to or not- so what are you going to do with it?
Oct 13
I opened the door to the sunrise and the sky was a pale violet, nearly all over the eastern side. The sun rose very pink and made for an odd colored flower with its bright center and dusky petals. Keep an eye on the day today...
 Oct 15
I love being awake when the night sky and pre-dawn are right on top of another. A band of color along the horizon and the blueblack of the starred night still fighting to stay. Love it!
Oct 18
sunrise was missed this morning due to my sinuses doing a very fabulous imitation of a brick lodged between my brain and nasal cavity. Now those who know me may think there is plenty of room for said brick, but I assure you, there is not.
Oct 19
hope today colored the sunrise, in spite of the brick which has lodged in my sinuses. "i just know that something good is gonna happen"
 Oct 22
The sunrise this morning was so subtle that I almost missed it. There was just enough of a break in the cloud cover that righhhttt above where the sun was rising, there was a tiny spark of pink edging a cloud... A gift for the attentive. :)
Oct 25
ahhh sunrise in the rear view mirror. the pre dawn was very shy, some pink that hid behind the low cloud bank and just touched the upper clouds. The her big, more experienced sister arrived with her bright white gold and amazing creamy orange costume that revealed everything. It was Vegas Showgirl. A very nice way to start a Monday..
Oct 26
being on time for work means I missed the sunrise this morning however pulling out of my apt. complex, the sky in the east was juuuuussstttt beginning to lighten and was the most tranquil shade of lapis blue and seemed so close that if I got out of my car I could reach up and smear my hand across it or perhaps just dive in to it...
Oct 27
it's a rough morning full of the wally, wally's- predawn was just starting when I exited the freeway and was a beautiful nutmeg and orange color nothing dramatic. I drive through the business park where I lose sight of the sun rise- come around the corner and WOW an creamsicle orange crown with pink tips is shooting it's glory across the skies. I pulled over to watch, grateful for the gift to the day.
Oct 29
predawn this morning was a clear dusky lemmon with just finger tips of some clouds from the north, reaching out to the east to get painted with just a little bit of rose...
Sunset Oct 31
went for our first two up tonight on the new bike..(919 for those who'd want to know) and it was *awe*some. I was flying through the odd dicotomy of Texas fall with green fields, dying trees, thriving juniper trees and the sky... the sky was high thin feather clouds with patches of opal colors as the sun hit them just right. Breath taking.
